The laboratory is equipped with Mac and PC computers set up to run virtually any type of behavioural technique employed in cognitive psychology and psycholinguistics. The Mac testing stations are equipped with CMU or ioLab response boxes for use with PsyScope, and high-polling rate keyboards to use with PsychoPy. These testing station are equipped with quick response-time and high refresh rate monitors for ultra-rapid stimulus presentation.
A specialized testing room is set up to run eye-tracking experiments employing EyeLink.
Another testing room is being setup to run ERPs.
fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging), fNIRS (functional near-infrared spectroscopy), and TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) resources are available via Concordia's PERFORM centre.
Patients with probable Alzheimer's disease and patients with aphasia are studied at hospitals and rehabilitation institutions affiliated with the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal.
